Welcome To
Shrewsbury Unitarians
Nurturing faith, embracing life, celebrating difference.
A friendly and growing congregation
in the heart of Shrewsbury
Shrewsbury Unitarian Church is a beautiful Grade II listed building overlooking the town’s High Street.
The Church is open Tuesdays from 9am – 2pm, on Sundays for services at 11am, usually on Thursday mornings and occasionally on Saturdays and at other times during the week.
For us worship takes many forms, in the belief that variety exists at the centre of a rich spiritual life. We experience prayer, meditation, poetry, discussion, music and sometimes silence at our meetings.
Sunday Services are held at 11am, and throughout the year a number of special services and events are held.
What’s OnOur religious beliefs are not prescribed, as we believe that religion is wider than any one sect and deeper than any one set of opinions.
We aspire to be a caring religious community in which we value people for their diversity and encourage freedom of thought and spiritual exploration
We meet together to share worship, to seek spiritual insight and to celebrate our common bonds of friendship and fellowship.
We warmly welcome all visitors.
